This program provides guaranteed loan financing and grant funding to agricultural producers and rural small businesses for renewable energy systems or to make energy efficiency improvements to their operation. Producers may also apply for new energy-efficient equipment and new system loans for agricultural production and processing.
Cost-share (50% eligible expense) to qualified TX agricultural producers of up to $4,000 per applicant.
STAR fund money can be used to assist in rebuilding, repairing, restoring their agricultural operation from natural disaster damage. If your county is included in the TX Governors declaration of disaster you have 90 days from declaration to turn in an application.
The Missouri Value-Added Agriculture Grant Program provides grants for projects that add value to Missouri agricultural products and aid the economy of a rural community. Applicants will be considered for value-added agricultural business concepts that lead to and result in the development, processing, and marketing of new or expanded uses of technologies for agricultural products; and who foster agricultural economic development in Missouri’s rural communities.
Applications will be considered for expenses related to the creation, development, and operation of a value-added agricultural business including feasibility and marketing studies, legal assistance, marketing plans, consulting, and business plans.
